The Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Communication

A major in communication provides solid education for entering as many as 80 different professions, as well as useful training for life. The UA Department of Communication is recognized as one of the top ten communication departments in the nation. Our program offers both practical training in communication skills, and thorough study of communication theory and research.

To graduate with a major in Communication, a student must successfully complete 33 units of communications courses, of which 18 or more must be upper division.
